The installation Cosmos Temple explores the isomorphic relationship between the macro-cosmos and the micro-individual through the utilization of primordial raw matter.
Within this circular domain measuring 2.8 meters in diameter, the artist constructs a central core out of soil, encircled by scattered rocks that metaphorically track the orbit of celestial bodies and the aggregation of matter. Notably, while the arrangement of these stones hints at the layout of a clock dial, their scale and underlying logic remain disordered and chaotic. This "disrupted temporal scale" effectively dismantles the rational horology of human society, pointing instead toward a more vast and chaotic cosmic time.
The artist views these soils and rocks as "fragments from the universe and the planets themselves," wherein matter itself serves as the bearer of information. Adopting a decentralized, post-human perspective that leverages the autonomous narrative of the physical materials, the work establishes a "temple" within the exhibition space—a conduit bridging a specific site with the infinite cosmos. It operates not merely as a visual mimesis of cosmic origins, but as a profound philosophical speculation on time, existence, and material echoes.
